Before You Arrive
Event Practicalities
Everything you need to know before taking a seat at the table. Our staff are happy to answer questions on the night, but these details will help you prepare.
Each event has a set buy-in that determines your starting stack and chip denominations. Buy-ins are explained clearly at the venue, and our staff can help you understand the structure before you sit down. Starting stacks vary by event type, chips are provided at the table, and chips hold no cash value.
The Velvet Underground Club aesthetic is smart casual. While we encourage a touch of elegance, comfort is key for long sessions at the table. Smart casual attire is recommended; no sportswear or singlets. Themed nights may have specific dress codes.
All poker events are strictly for guests aged 18 and over. Valid identification may be required upon entry. This is an 18+ venue with ID checks at the door.
